X8 Drums Handpan 2-year Warranty
  • This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the period of two years from the documented original date of purchase. It applies to unaltered products properly stored, transported, played properly and used for their intended purpose. Claims related to negligence and extreme conditions will not be considered.
  • In the event a handpan requires re-tuning, X8 Drums will connect the original purchaser with an approved tuning professional in the United States. Customer is responsible for shipping and service costs related to re-tuning, unless retuning is required within 30 days of the original date of purchase and is related to a manufacturing issue.
  • X8 recommends saving the original carton for safe and efficient shipping of the handpan. Contact the X8 Drums Customer Care Team (see their website) for warranty claims.

    I ordered this handpan a few months back, soon after it arrives I noticed the general lack of care for details by the builder, shortly after it started to show small rust spots (proving that the shells they use are not high quality as a handpan should be) further demonstrating the lack of quality and care. I also quickly discovered the handpan isn't fully tuned! Just a basic press with no professional hand tuning. In short if you want a toy you can get one for a little less and if you want an instrument I suggest finding a professional builder that has pride in their work

    I'm a sound designer for Film, TV, New Media, podcasts, etc, and I'm constantly looking for instruments to add to my collection that bring something unique to my projects. I've been looking at adding a handpan that could live up to the hype of the original Hang drum, without paying $8K, and found it with this beauty. The resonance and tone are very musical and sound simply incredible. Quality is through the roof and recording is a breeze. Just put up a mic, any mic, and let this instrument do the rest. If you're looking for a very high end handpan that sounds exceptional, look no further. This instrument at this price point is just incredible. Would highly recommend! Bonus: You can take off the band that goes around the Handpan for even more tone and resonance. The band simply slides off. Love the color bands btw.
