Does this device work with the input port of speaker ZLX-G@15-2 way
Not directly compatible—here’s why: The Xvive P1 is a portable 48V phantom power supply intended for use between a condenser microphone and a device that does not provide phantom power, such as: An audio interface without phantom power A digital recorder A passive DI box. The ZLX-G2 15 has line-level combo inputs (XLR/TRS), but no mic preamp or phantom power. It’s not designed to process mic-level signals, especially from condenser mics, which are too low in level even with external phantom power. So even though the Xvive P1 will power a condenser mic, the resulting signal will be mic-level, and the ZLX input expects a line-level signal—you’d get very low volume or no usable signal. If you want to use a condenser mic with the ZLX-G2 15, here’s the right signal path: Condenser Mic → Xvive P1 (for phantom power) Xvive P1 → Mic Preamp or Mixer (to boost to line level) Mixer Line Out → ZLX-G2 15 Input.submitted2 years ago

I am needing to connect a condenser microphone in my cajon through my Fishman ToneDEQ Acoustic Instrument Preamp with Effects before reaching the console. It requires phantom power, but I am worried about damaging the Fishman preamp. The Xvive P1 portable phantom power supply seems like a possible solution as the demo video describes connecting the mic through the P1 to 'any processor' (aside from the usual mixer or other downstream device). If I connect the cond. mic to the P1 and then to the Fishman input, will it damage the Fishman ToneDEQ?
NO. The P1 won't damage anything. It supplies power the same way a battery wouldsubmitted2 years ago
