Great Beginner Guitar
I don't know about the rest of the gig pack, but I've owned this guitar for two years and have been consistently been playing it for a year. For a beginner, this guitar is fantastic. When you're playing correctly, there is excellent sound quality. The strings are excellent quality (unless your two year old brother sits on one and you have to replace it). The steel hurts the fingers a little, but all guitars do. The only problem is that the neck is a little wide for those of us with small hands... barre chords are a problem, but just to start out this is a great guitar. The sound, when plucking especially, is beautiful!!!! I love this guitar, but once you grow more advanced, you will want to get another guitar as well (that's what I am doing). It's great especially for the price. I reccomend this guitar for any age or size beginner. My ten year old sister enjoys learning on it when she has the time. :) And she is very tiny.

You could do a little better.
This is a good beginner guitar. I have had it for about 5 years and it is in almost perfect condition. One downside is that the neck isn't very slim so it doesn't have the best playability. It also doesn't have many accessible frets. But, it stays in tune longer than any Martin or Taylor I've seen.

I bought this package a week ago. I have been playing for 40 years, but only recently decided to buy a nylon string guitar. I still play my first guitar (a Yamaha Eterna EF-15 steel string), and thought it best to get the nylon string equivalent. I made the right choice.
Love this guitar!

This is my very first guitar, but I grew up around them having a dad who has loved to play my entire life. I chose this particular one due to a class I'm taking, and I haven't been disappointed. #sweepstakes

I play everyday, has a smooth Mid and Treble so it does not sound muffled when playing.

I teach on these guitars and they are fantastic for beginners. They will last a lifetime if treated well. But the gig maker pack doesn't come with a case, and that's just silly. Just throw in a cheap gig bag for crying out loud!!!

Is is Nylon string have a bigger body or a thin body? The thin body guitars don't produce good sound. The bigger body nylon string guitars do. So, I am looking for a bigger body Nylon String guitar that has better sounding.
This is a full size body.submitted10 months ago

I am looking for a classical guitar with a bigger body that can produce better sounding then a thinner body Classical Guitar. Would this be the right guitar or should I look at something else that has a bigger body with more sound coming out of the guitar? Also, what's the difference between this C40 vs. the C40 that doesn't come with the bag?
I’m very sorry. Your question is not clear. Most Classical guitars aren't thin?submitteda year ago

Are guitar nylon strings best for a beginner? Are steel strings longer lasting? what's best?
1) Not necessarily. 2) You can't compare the two. 3) That depends on the sound you want.submitted5 years ago
