Yamaha DZR315 15" 3-Way Powered Speaker

The Yamaha DZR315 is a 3-way powered speaker with Class-D bi-amplification. The DZR315 is ideal for DJs, and performers who appreciate tight bass, clear vocals and crisp highs. Even at high sound levels, the Yamaha DZR315 produces distortion-free audio.

Yamaha’s 96kHz DSP processor focuses the speaker’s power into high-res sound. Advanced FIR-X tuning technology delivers a smooth frequency response. The result is stunning clarity from the DZR315 speaker without phase distortion.

An onboard LCD screen lets you easily navigate the DSP functions. Store up to eight presets to save your custom adjustments. Saved settings can easily transferred to a USB flash drive.

The DZR315 powered speaker features D-CONTOUR, which is an intelligent multi-band compressor. It ensures your DZR315’s sound stays consistent and clear at any volume. The D-CONTOUR technology constantly monitors the output of multiple frequency bands. Then it applies the ideal EQ adjustments for band. There are two D-CONTOUR modes: FOH/MAIN and MONITOR. These settings give you more detailed tuning of your sound, depending on your system’s setup.

DSP protection built into the Yamaha DZR315 extends the life of its components. It also maximizes output. Yamaha’s DSP monitors the status of the power supply, power amplifiers, transducers and signal levels. This allows the DSP to protect each component of the DZR315 and maximize performance.

The DZR315 3-way speaker uses a redesigned Class-D power module. With 2,000W peak output, it delivers best-in-class power. It provides up to 143dB SPL and is optimized to match all three drivers. The DZR315 is fitted with a 15" woofer, 8" midrange driver and a 1" tweeter.

A durable polyurea coating protects the finish of the DZR315’s rugged plywood enclosure. It also features butterfly joints for extra strength. Yamaha didn’t cut any corners designing this cabinet. It’s built for professional use and life on the road.
