    Very sturdy & very dependable. Works great with a 18 inch ride. It weighs about 8-10 pounds so it's really solid.

    Although these stands are lightweight and sturdy , I use them for my 16 and 18 inch crash cymbals anything bigger I would use a heavier stand.

    so far working well. "lightweight" these days is a lot sturdier than what that term used to denote, it seems to me. and that's fine.

    I have a Yamaha LIVE Custom Oak Shell Black Wood Drum set and these particular cymbal stands fit the character of my kit. Great if you don't want to lug around heavy duty hardware

    This is a great cymbal stand. You get Yamaha quality with this one. It is light weight so it is easy to lug to gigs. I like the look of double braced stands too. I use it to mount a tom on with a Yamaha parallel clamp and it never tips over. It is a great light stand for a smaller setup.
