collapse expand iconDescription

The Yamaha KU100 is a silent kick unit that can sense your playing dynamics. This unit is designed to reduce the physical sound of playing the bass drum and especially the vibration to downstairs spaces when you are playing above others.

Before you purchase a pad, refer to the pad compatibility table to make sure that you can connect the pad to your drum trigger module (tone generator). This pedal standard-equipped on the DTX400K drums.

Not as quick/tight as a real pedal but gets the job done.

  • Looks well made but it was not compatible with my module.

Quality kick pedal but unfortunately didn't work on my El Cajon EC10 as I hoped as a less expensive option over the Roland KT10 (Approx. $175.00 more!)

  • Great for what it's designed to do.

I got this for my Yamaha DD 75. Very transportable in a self contained unit verses a kick pedal with a pad, but you definitely loose the feel of the pedal swing and impact. That should be expected since it obviously has no pendulum, and this takes a little time to get used to. Knowing that it does a great job for simple, steady beats. If you are planning on tearing it up with the bass pedal, may want to think about a bit more standard setup, if you plan on using the kick for accent... does fine.

  • Nice compact electronic kick pedal

This is exactly what I was looking for for my 2 year old. He plays drums every day, but it's been a challenge getting a lick pedal raised for him to kick. This is compact and easy to stick on a little stool so his feet can reach. It works well. Feels a little different than a kick pedal/ separate drum combo, but is worth it if you need something compact. It is a little pricy for what I needed though. But I couldn't find anything cheaper, so...

  • the action is horrible - spring is to loose😟

It may. It will very possibly be inconsistent. It’s not a good idea to mix brands of e-drums.
