I Use this compact mixer to mic up a complex Drum Kit , I love the fact that it fits in a rack and comes with the mounting brackets!. The Sub mixes are fantastic . The effects are easy to use and the individual channel eQ's are very effective . I don't think Yamaha could have built this any better .

An amazing product. Upgraded from the MG16FX. Only disappointment was the USB connection to the computer, which only allows for the first two channels. Need all 20, so I added a Presonus unit to gain all 20.

I am very happy with this mixer. I run sound for two of my cover bands and the controls are super easy to use. I love how it has 12 dual xlr/1/4" channel inputs on the board. The sound quality is also very clear. There are quite a few effects but I think they are okay. I feel like this board will last me a long time because it is very sturdy and doesn't appear or feel cheap like some other mixers can be with their parts.

Bought and used for debut gig. Sounded great. Two (2) "dings" are 1) manual covers 5 models and seems this model's board description is often missing, but we were able to figure things out. 2) thus far we haven't found any LED to aid in setting each lines' GAIN-level.

This is an unpowered mixer, so it does not have a pre-amplified board.
