The PSR-A5000 features a large variety of voices and styles from around the world, an assignable joystick controller, panel scale tuner, and has dedicated space for your choice of expansion content. With new Voice Samples like the Oud, Qanoon, Nay, Watariat, and the famous Turkish string group, Istanbul Strings, as well as new Styles like Khaleeji, Shami, Masri, Maghrebi, Persian, and Turkish, the PSR-A5000 is a performance powerhouse. Innovative features like Key-off Percussion Samples and Velocity Sensitive Portamento give every performer the freedom to express their unique musical voice.

  • Real Time Scale Tuning settings right on the panel of your instrument allow you to change scale tuning on the fly, and even create presets for quick and easy recall

      This keyboard is truly great and easy to use and learn. I used to have a Korg Pa4x before this. However, I switched to the Yamaha a5000 because it is truly great and the sounds are more realistic as they are from Juzisound and lively sampled. In addition, I love how you can program 8 registration sounds to each registration bank set you program. So the limits on this keyboard are truly unlimited. This is keyboard is also great for not only international music but also western music as well, as this keyboard is very similar to the xs700 and xs900. This is keyboard is amazing. The sky is truly the limit on what you can do on this keyboard. I definitely recommend it for any professional musician's like me.

      Does the PSR A5000 still have the similar voices (brass, trumpet, trombones, etc.) used in the PSR 3000? I ask only because the advertisements seem to emphasize Middle East, Eastern Asian-Oriental sounds. I hope its like a 3000 on steroids. My 3000 I've had for 12 years started giving me issues and the A5000 looks like a great replacement. Thank you, John
