Description
Yamaha's CS-755 Single-braced Medium-weight Boom Cymbal Stand is designed to meet the needs of drummers who demand reliability and adjustability. The CS-755 features a sturdy yet lightweight single-braced frame, hideaway 17" boom arm and tilters that provide 360 degrees of positioning for cymbals.
Roadworthy Construction for Gigging Drummers
The CS-755 is constructed of steel that provides durability without excess weight. Its single-braced legs offer stability during performance while remaining easy to transport and set up. Non-skid end caps prevent the stand from slipping or rattling. For drummers frequently on the road, the CS-755's rugged yet portable build is ideal.
Hideaway Boom Arm Provides Out-of-the-Way Storage
The CS-755's 17" boom arm telescopes out of sight when not in use, providing an uncluttered appearance. Its memory lock allows drummers to adjust the boom arm to a preferred angle, then collapse and extend it as needed while retaining the preset position. The boom arm's length and angle are fully adjustable via a tilter clamp for optimal cymbal placement.
Tilters Enable Precise Cymbal Positioning
Both the vertical post and boom arm of the CS-755 feature tilter clamps that swivel a full 360 degrees, allowing drummers to angle cymbals as needed for ergonomic playing. The wide range of motion offered by the tilters, combined with the telescoping boom arm, provides flexibility in cymbal setups for drummers with particular preferences regarding cymbal heights and angles.
Additional Features for Convenience
The CS-755 includes several useful touches, including tube caps preventing rattling at each leg joint, felt washers cushioning cymbals and preventing keyholing, and a convertible boom adapter allowing the boom arm to be mounted in multiple positions. A double-braced version, the CS-950, is also available for drummers seeking maximum stability. For an all-purpose cymbal stand ready for stage or studio at an affordable price, the Yamaha CS-755 Single-Braced Medium-weight Boom Cymbal Stand delivers.

Yamaha Hardware is the best

I've been using the same Yamaha hardware for 35 years. I've recently started upgrading/replacing some of it including one of these stands. It far exceeds my high expectations. I have a couple really heavy ride cymbals and this stand handles them with ease. Sturdy and stable and the memory lock makes setup a breeze, and somehow it's relatively light. I came here to buy 2 more to replace the last of my old stands. Long live Yamaha Hardware!

I have 3 now purchased in 2019. Also 2 purchased back around 1980. They are very similar to the old ones. I like the middle weight single braced stands best!
Nice for the money
