Yamaha YAC SHC-43 Sousaphone Case

I bought this Sousaphone Case along with a YAMAHA Sousaphone. Unfortunately the foam padding inside the top lid did not fit the contour of the sousaphone and I could not close the lid. I looked for hours on the internet for directions or suggestions and even called Musicians' Friend and Yamaha corporation directly. No one seemed to know why this case was built the way it was. I ended up carving the foam pieces so the case could close. Seriously YAMAHA - communicate with your cliental about how the truths of your gear. Instruments come with an owners manual - this case should too....
