I played the original A custom 20" ride for 25+ years. I wanted something more versatile, smoother, lighter to play and still cutting thru. The bell sound is also very nice, clear but not to loud. Overall a great allround cymbal.

This is my first A Custom Cymbals. I was looking for something bright and glassy but at the same time with a brilliant finish. The sound is amazing and I already played my first gig with it. Great buy!

In the mix of amps and things it penetrates and sounds like wonderful shimmering gold. On it's own it has kind of an overly intense "glassy roar" in my opinion. But anywhere you play it ... the bell! Can't get enough of the bell. Hard to judge it's crashability because I'm not a big ride crasher.

This cymbal is the foundation of my set. Without my ride, i would feel naked. I have the 20" version of this ride and it's a very nice ride. The only downfall is that the wash can build up and the stick definition is not too clear. But with wash comes crashability. I use this as my third crash sometimes for breakdowns etc. I'm interested in a 22" K Dark Medium Ride now, but this is still a great choice for a ride.

This ride really was what i was looking for. If your into jazz, go and buy a k custom. If heavy metal is all you do, go buy a z custom. If you want something thats great for all around, buy this!I will say that if you play just one style, this might not be for you. but if you play all styles, this is an awesome ride!

I Was previously using a zxt rock ride before the 22" a custom meduim ride, and i was a little hesitant becuase i didnt know how it was going to sound before i got there, but when i did and tested it out i was so shocked on how loud it was, its just expremely loud. It crashes lovely, the bow is decent enough for riding, and the bell is just amazing, has the perfect tone, not to high, more low, and also extremely loud. the cymbal in general is low pitched becuase its a 22" but i strongly recomend this if you want a ride you need to crash and ride on, and if you need something loud, perfect for METAL!
