1. Contact Zildjian to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#), via telephone: 781-871-2200.
2. Indicate the location of the damage on the cymbal with a piece of tape.
3. Make a photocopy of your original numbered and dated sales receipt.
4. Carefully package your cymbal. Include your RA# and the photocopy of your sales receipt in the box.
5. Ship the package to:

3. The cymbal was bought second-hand or used in a lease program.
4. The cymbal has previously been replaced by Zildjian.
5. More than two years have passed since the cymbal was purchased.

I'm a student drummer, and although much of my instruction is jazz oriented, I have done some rock gigs, and I'm crazy enough to believe that studying jazz makes one proficient in rock drumming as well. So, I was away from home visiting family in Long Island. My brother-in-law, also a guitarist, gets a phone call...his drummer had a family emergency, and was unable to make the gig for that evening. The problem was, my drum kit was home. Fortunately, there was a house kit, but no cymbals. Faced with an emergency situation, limited on time, I picked up the A Zildjian Rock Pack (the material was a combination of hard rock/heavy metal originals and covers), as well as a four pack of sticks, from the good people at the Long Island Drum Center. So, I showed up at the gig, set up, and smiled as the brand new cymbals looked beautiful, shimmering under the stage lights. Turns out that the second band canceled, so I was in for a long night in the throne. WE HAD A BLAST!! It was one of those gigs where we were ON POINT and we SCORCHED the stage!! The A Zildjian Rock Pack was a wise investment...the Ping Ride had powerful stick definition with just the right amount of wash, and easily cut through the sound. The Medium Thin Crashes punctuated the accents with adequate power, and the Mastersound hi hats had that powerful "chick" sound with all the cutting power I needed for that high energy, heavy metal sound!! We had fun playing, and we connected with the audience so well we did FOUR ENCORES!! Through it all my new Zildjians were up to the task, on point, and worth every penny (I actually don't mind paying the MasterCard bill...haha)!! I look forward to many more years of owning and playing these beauties!! I'm open to experiment with different brands of hardware...heads...even drums...but for cymbals, there is only one ..ZILDJIAN!!

I bought this set for practicing in my studio. Not good. These cymbals are ridiculously loud. I had not used Mastersound hats before. They are so loud as to not be articulate. The open sound is just an explosive wall of sound that you can't hear anything else. If you're playing live gigs with no mics these would be great! I do not recommend for a smaller room. The Ping Ride is the same weight as the old ('80s) Medium Ride. They took over a pound of metal out of it and you can tell, but it's still nice. If you want the old Ping Ride sound you need to buy a Rock Ride now. You really need to slam the crashes to get them to open up, especially the 19".
Amazing set that cuts through anything

Not only is the set perfect for its intended use, but due to it being A's, it's also incredibly versatile.
