Better than expected!!

A trip to my local guitar center to pick up some used cymbals I had purchased lead me to the stick selection. Normally I know what I like so I purchase in bulk online and have them shipped to the house, but I stopped to just browse. Immediately my eyes where drawn to the black dots at the butt of the sticks( part of the anti-vibe). I decided to purchase them and brought them home to try them out. I have arthritis in both my hands and they will fall asleep and start hurting after awhile, these sticks don't exactly prevent this from happening, but what they do and do well is extend the time I can pay before I need to pause and stretch my hands. After a few seconds of stretching I'm back in the game. Long story short, they work, I will be switching to these full time!!

What did you do to them??

I bought a pair of Anti-Vibes a few years ago, and they've been awesome. But these new ones are a completely different stick! The rubber insert isn't cast into the hole anymore, it's a separate rubber piece that fell out after 2 days of playing on both sticks. The wood is completely different too. It feels lighter, less dense, and has a weird, rough texture. 100% not getting these again.

I am 71 and was looking for a way to decrease the sensation of vibration in my hands and arms as I drummed. The 5A Anti-Vibe drumsticks did just that!

These sticks are anti-vibration, bit the rubber grommets work there way loose and eventually fall out. I reglue them using compound cement that holds them in very well. I recommend Zildjian can take a look at the glue Invite something superior then with her using.

these are my "go to" sticks! my arthritic hands need a bulkier stick to hold. the anti vibe feature also helps! Not always available so I beg you not to discontinue!!! They tend to splinter a little bit, but.....still mine!

I have been using 5B anti vibe for 2-3 years now. I LOVE them. They,re much easier on my hands and wrists , which are plagued with the onset of arthritis. Not bad for a drummer of 70, playing for 59 years The rubber piece comes out sometimes, but I just slide the back in. Thay are my stick of choice! i will definitely buy them again!!!

I use these exclusively if I have to play longer than an hour. Which is most of the time. I hope Zildjian does not do away with these, as there is not really anything else like them. I use a wedgies shock sleeve to cover the rubber part so I don't pull it out. That is my only grip with these. But the Wedgies works well and I've been doing that for year.
