This Cleaner Works!
I purchased this cleaner and at first I wasn't sure if it could get the grime off of my cymbals, but it proved me wrong! They look just like when I first bought them: shiny! I used this stuff on my A Customs, and they look sharp. Keep away from the logos though.

Stick With The Spray
This stuff is too much of a hassle to clean cymbals with. Its a polish, and gets all over the place and doesnt allow an even cleaning around the cymbal. Like all cymbal cleaners, it will remove your logos, so be careful. I switched over to the Sabian spray because its not such a mess. These will clean your cymbals, but cause quite a mess.

Works well, you can get some on the logo's and it won't take them off unless you really put some elbow grease in it.

My wife plays the drums for fun. I bought her a set of the ZBT cymbals a few years ago. We recently moved, and when I unpacked the cymbals, there were these spots on them. It looked like water spots that had dried. Once I cleaned the cymbals real good I put this on to get a the remaining dirt off. Follow the directions on the bottle. It cleaned and restored the shine back to the cymbals. A few spots didn't come out and I will have my friend who is a professional drummer take a look to see if there is anything else we can try.

My Zildjian cymbals came with my previously used drumset. I don't know whether they are brilliant finish or not, since they're pretty dirty. Which cleaner should I use - regular, or brilliant? Thanks.
I’m sorry, I don’t know what cymbals you have. I would use the regular.submitted3 years ago
