Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Cymbal Pack

Description
Crafted for drummers who demand both power and finesse, the Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Cymbal Pack (14", 16", 18", 20") delivers a versatile mix of tonal clarity and musical depth. Designed in collaboration with legendary Japanese drummer Akira Jimbo, this pack features an innovative dual-finish design that blends brilliance with darkness. Each cymbal is thoughtfully engineered to perform across a wide dynamic range, making this pack a powerful choice for drummers looking to shape a unique, expressive sound.
Dual-Finish Design Enhances Tone and Articulation
Built with a brilliant finish on the inner area and a traditional finish on the outer edge, each cymbal in the K Custom Hybrid pack delivers a stunning contrast of sound. The unlathed center section adds focus, tightens sustain and reduces wash—especially helpful in high-volume or complex mix environments. Hi-hats stay crisp and articulate, crashes explode with clean attack and the ride blends warmth with clarity. The result is a sonically balanced cymbal set that excels in both live and studio settings.
Oversized Hi-Hats for Greater Dynamic Control
The 14-1/4" K Custom Hybrid hi-hats offer more surface area than traditional 14" models, giving you increased control over every nuance. The brilliant inner section helps sharpen the stick attack, while the traditional outer area balances the response with warmth. Their slightly oversized design allows for greater touch sensitivity, while the unlathed interior reduces unwanted wash. From quiet jazz accents to driving funk patterns, these hi-hats are built to respond with precision.
Hybrid Crash Cymbals Deliver Power and Musicality
The included 16" and 18" crash cymbals provide explosive sound with musical complexity. Thanks to the unique hybrid finish and unlathed center, each crash cuts through with clarity while retaining expressive sustain. The traditional outer finish adds warmth and depth, making them ideal for layered parts, dynamic accents or full-volume hits. These crashes strike the perfect balance between projection and tonal richness—ideal for both studio recording and high-energy performances.
20" Ride Cymbal Balances Warmth and Definition
The 20" ride in this pack offers exceptional stick definition along with a broad, musical wash. Its outer lathing enhances the spread and tonal warmth, while the brilliant-finished inner section sharpens attack and focus. The bell is clean, articulate and designed to stand out in any mix. Whether you're playing subtle jazz textures or need a powerful, present ride for modern rock or fusion, this cymbal adapts seamlessly to your touch and style.
Engineered for Pro-Level Tone and Flexibility
Created for drummers who prioritize feel, tone and control, the Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Cymbal Pack (14", 16", 18", 20") offers a refined, pro-ready setup. With Akira Jimbo's input and Zildjian's trusted craftsmanship, this pack delivers innovative performance and signature sound across every cymbal.
