collapse expand iconDescription

This K Sweet Cymbal Pack delivers an oversized set of thin, washy, sweet sounds with a 15" pair of hi-hats, 17 and 19" crashes and a 21" ride. K Sweet extends the iconic K Family into a new direction, delivering darker tones than the popular A Sweet Family while preserving the sensitivity and sweetness. The K Sweet crashes are extra-thin and feature unlathed bells. They’re hammered with the traditional K-style technique, which darkens the response while ensuring fast attack. The 21" K Sweet ride is fully lathed, emphasizing clear stick definition and bell sound. It’s also easily crashable with the stick shoulder, creating endless possibilities for ride patterns. The hats feature deep hammering, a thin top and extra-heavy bottom. This contrast makes for a solid "chick" sound and full wash. These are some of the smoothest, most pleasing cymbals Zildjian has created. This pack is a chance to equip a full drum kit with the best.

What can go wrong with Zildjian Cymbals? NOTHING! Consider where they originated and when they were first made - then look at which artists have used them throughout history of the modern drum sets!

After playing a mix of K customs across various sub series, I decided I wanted so sonically matched cymbals that would work for all around genres and also worship gigs. I knew I wanted something on the darker side as that's where my pallet is so I tried several cymbals in a store with great displays. I'd never heard of K sweets since I hadn't bought new cymbals in over a decade. To my surprise, EVERY K sweet I played stood out as a clear winner compared to everything else. Period. I really tried to tell myself this couldn't be and I must have had a weird experience. I even had a few other series in mind, but ended up coming back to the K sweets. They are awesome sound and feel wise, easy to play dynamically, and just totally blow me out of the water. They sound like darker deeper K customs but smoother and much more pleasing to the ear. I'm usually not a fan of box sets, but the 15/17/19/21 set is a home run. Get your ears on these cymbals immediately and thank me later.

These cymbals a perfect combination of bright and dark. They have an explosive sound without washing out the rest of the kit. The feel is amazing. These K Sweets complete my set. They sound phenomenal!

Is the extra cymbal, as advertised, separate from cymbals in the box (14"17"19"21)? In other words, is it an extra 19" cymbal promo, in addition to 14"27"19"21" kit.
