Zildjian L80 Low Volume Cymbals

Description
The Zildjian L80 Series LV468 Low Volume Cymbal Pack, a revolutionary set of cymbals that provide an authentic playing experience at a fraction of the volume. Zildjian, the world's leading cymbal maker, has developed an innovative perforated pattern and proprietary alloy to reduce volume by up to 80 percent compared to a traditional cymbal. The Zildjian L80s allow drummers to practice and perform whenever and wherever they want without disturbing others. The LV468 Pack includes 14" hi-hats, 16" crash and 20" ride cymbals so you have a complete, low-volume setup.
Practice Day or Night With Near-Silent Cymbals
The Zildjian L80s are the solution for drummers who want to practice at any hour without annoying neighbors or housemates. Their low volume allows for jam sessions well into the evening, and the full tone and response means you can play as vigorously as you want. The L80s also make great cymbals for teaching studios, worship bands and other settings where volume control is important.
Authentic Zildjian Sound and Feel
While the Zildjian L80 cymbals are much quieter than traditional cymbals, Zildjian's innovative perforated pattern and alloy maintain the brand's signature sound quality and playability. The L80s have a natural, musical tone with a full decay, and they respond dynamically to different sticking techniques and playing intensities just like regular cymbals. The matte finish and specialized grooves absorb excess overtones and high frequencies, reducing volume without compromising tone.
Complete Set for Gigs or Practice
The LV468 Cymbal Pack provides a full set of low-volume cymbals so you have everything you need for a quiet practice session or low-key gig. It includes 14" hi-hats for a range of articulations, a 16" crash cymbal for accents and a 20" ride cymbal that provides a defined ping and wash. Although more affordable than buying cymbals individually, the pack does not skimp on quality or sound.
Convenient and Portable
Zildjian L80 cymbals have a lightweight, low-profile design that makes them easy to carry and set up. They work with any standard cymbal stand and require no special mounts or dampening pads. The L80s are also more compact than traditional cymbals, so they are ideal if you have limited space.

I would recommend this product, Don't buy before June 2016
The product is great awesome sound, but not to loud. You still get the feel of the traditional cymbal, but without the loud crash that comes with regular cymbals.

These cymbals are outstanding!! Although cymbal mutes are way more effective at volume reduction, you sacrifice the feel of wood on metal. These cymbals are effective at reducing volume while retaining the feel of real cymbals. Highly recommended!! #sweepstakes

These low volume Zildjian cymbals are awesome! I live in a condo and recently met my upstairs neighbor. She was worried that I may have heard her sliding furniture across the floor. I told her I hadn't, but was afraid my drumming was bothering her. She said, "I've never even heard you playing." Whew...what a relief! And pair them with Remo SilentStroke heads for a really quiet practice session!

The L80 series is even better in person. After months of research Ive finally found the right cymbals for me, this gives plenty of room for hybrid/electric compatibility when used with the propers triggers. This set is perfect.

These cymbals are fantastic for practice in the house. I do wish the crash was a wee bit louder - can barely hear it. Over all - great.

I bought this set of cymbals and paired them with my REMO brand silent style drumheads. I put them on my little cafe type drum set in my small practice room at the end of the hallway. With this pairing, I can "go at it" like I'm at a full on gig with a rock band and not disturb anybody! Using 7A size sticks with nylon tips, I can just put everything I want into my playing, with no holding back. Yet the volume is still low enough to where you can easily talk over it! Nice tonality, and great response! Probably the only "downside" is that because they ARE so quiet, you may have to put a little extra effort into making sure your hardware is solid on your set, as you will now hear all the squeaks and rattling normally drowned out by the normal volume of a regular drum set up. They are great for quiet acoustic gigs, too! (Where were these when I was a kid with my parents always telling me, "TURN IT DOOOOWN)"!! I love the newfound freedom I have to rehearse and practice on my acoustic set! 5 stars, baby!!
