Zoom G11 Multi-Effects Processor for Guitarists

Zoom

collapse expand iconDescription

The Zoom G11 multi-effects processor with expression pedal represents the culmination of the engineering and passion they've brought to designing multi-effects for guitarists for over 30 years. Their best engineers took the tonal qualities of some of the greatest amps in history, combined them and crafted all-new amp models designed to give you new palettes of tone, helping you take your creativity to a whole new level.

In addition to the classic effects you love, the G11 offers brand-new Distortion and Modulation effects, unlocking endless new tone possibilities. Its 22 cabinet emulations contain 70 preloaded impulse response (IR) options, that were captured with different microphones and in various positions, to provide you a wide spectrum of cabinet sounds to choose from. Additionally, you can import up to 130 of your own IRs.

Touch And Go
Your sounds may be complex, but building them shouldn’t be. With easy-to-use, application-driven technology, the G11’s 5" color touchscreen lets you drag, drop and swipe your way to new sounds. Plus, from the stompbox control to the amp panel, the G11's familiar feel will make you feel like you’ve been here before.

Customize Your Workflow
Ideal for live performance, the G11 multi-effects processor has a Play by Patch feature that lets you scroll through all of your patches. When you're in the studio, use Play by Effect for a complete visual representation of your custom pedal chain. Or, you can organize your patches in song lists with Play by Bank for quick access to every sound for every song.

Loop & Groove
The G11 comes with a 5-minute looper which makes it easy to add layers to solo performances. Choose your groove from 67 built-in rhythm patterns in various genres and time signatures.

Return to Sender
Add external mono and stereo effects, build parallel audio chains, and synchronize/trigger other devices via MIDI.

Audio Interface
The G11 is a full-on audio interface for Mac and PC. Record directly to your favorite DAW via USB.

Guitar Lab 5.0
Wirelessly connect the G11 directly to the Zoom Guitar Lab app via BLE. With the optional BTA-1 adaptor, you can browse and upload/download an endless assortment of amps, effects and artists patches as provided on Guitar Lab software.

Sound Sounds
Zoom Originals

Krampus: Combines the brightness of an '80s British amp, with the solid low range of a modern high-gain amp.
Redloom: Merges the simple tone of early guitar amps with the rich overtones of a '60s tube amp, perfect for rhythm guitar.
Velvet: Provides a smooth character that balances the dynamic response between the wound and plain strings, enabling you to play both lead and rhythm without switching amp channels.
Muddy: Delivers a vintage amp sound perfect for gritty blues.
7 Heaven: Combines a very tight low end with expanded dynamic response, perfect for 7- and 8-string guitars.
Pollex: With extreme drop-tuning, this amp is designed for slap-playing or the heavy-metal sound of Djent.

New Distortion Effects
Razor Drive: Using Comb filtering Razor Drive controls the sound saturation by boosting the filter and therefore distortion, at each frequency point of resonance. This processing creates a new distortion unlike any you've heard before.

    • Poor build quality, touch screen has a poor touch response

The quality, fit and finish are poor. Touch screen doesn't always register touches. Sounds are just OK. You are better off with a Headrush or Helix LT, even though they cost more. The Boss GX-100 costs less. I traded it in for a Headrush MX5 (small) as I already have a Helix.

I love the Zoom G11 it is a worthy addition to my fleet of Flagship guitar processors. Helix, Headrush, Boss Gt-1000, Mooer Ge300, Digitech Rp-1000. The reason I got more than one processor is because once you spend the time to get to know them they all have there unique sound and functionality. I believe flagship multi effects pedals are the best way to get the most guitar effects for your money. I still got to get the Quad cortex, Kemper, but they don't even come with pedals, and of course the Fractal audio axe effects 3, but it doesn't even come with foot switches. lol. so i'll get them last. Anyway the Zoom G11 is great. It of course has less processing power than other more expensive pedals but the sound quality is just as good as the human ear has its limitations. The Mooer Ge 300 has more complicated cab mic controls allowing you to adjust the kind of mic and the distance, but you can only get one reverb block out of it while the Zoom G11 gives you one amp slot and 10 other slots that can be anything as long as you don't run out of DSP. The AMB PAD factory preset has 3 reverb blocks stacked at the end. It sounds amazing. So its ezer to get ridiculously wet ambient sounds out of the Zoom G11 than the Mooer. If you abhor Menue diving this pedal has more knobs than any other, the controls to the amp and every pedal in your line are right on the surface of the pedal ,Of course this causes your eyes to have to move more so its a trade off. Hear is a tip to help you learn this pedal quick. The touch screen starts out with 4 pages of specific functionalities. USE THE EDIT ALL functionality icon to build your patches and name them. It can do it all and its ez er that way. The (EDIT ALL), (Play by Bank), and (Save) icons are the EZ est way to get it all done. But if you just want to quickly figure out how to do one thing I am sure they got a Icon for it on the home screen. Swipe the arrow at the top to return to Home Screen. Its EZ to figure out.
