dbx DriveRack PA2
Description
This innovative processor provides all the tools needed to maximize and protect your PA system for live performance. Packed with dbx's latest proprietary AutoEQ and Advanced Feedback Suppression algorithms, the DriveRack PA2 takes the guesswork out of dialing in perfect sound for any venue. An updated setup Wizard gets you up and running faster than ever before. And with Ethernet control, all functions can be accessed and controlled remotely from your preferred mobile device or laptop. Whether you're a touring musician or run your own PA company, the DriveRack PA2 is a must-have for optimizing your live sound.
AutoEQ For Accurate, Non-Intrusive EQ
The DriveRack PA2 features an improved AutoEQ algorithm for extremely precise, rapid and unobtrusive automatic equalization. With the RTA mic, AutoEQ now sets speaker levels and room EQ in just seconds without subjecting audiences to lengthy pink noise broadcasts.
Enhanced AFS Eliminates Feedback
Nothing disrupts a live performance like audio feedback. Fortunately, dbx engineers have enhanced their already stellar Advanced Feedback Suppression technology for even faster, more accurate feedback elimination without compromising tone. The DriveRack PA2 actively listens for and anticipates feedback, making adjustments before it occurs to keep your sound feedback-free.
Updated Wizards Simplify Setup
The DriveRack PA2 features updated Wizards to guide you through easy configuration of level balancing, AutoEQ, AFS and speaker tunings. Wizards provide access to built-in and continuously updated speaker tunings from major manufacturers to help you get the most from your speakers.
Essential Input and Output Processing
The DriveRack PA2 offers all the processing needed between your mixer and amplifiers. Inputs include dbx compression, AFS, graphic EQ and 8-band parametric EQ. Outputs provide crossover support for full-range, 2-way and 3-way systems, 8-band parametric EQs for speaker tunings, dbx limiting and driver alignment delays.

This is an excellent update to the original Driverack. It was easy to set up. The app access is excellent! This was the first part of a church installation upgrade. The existing speakers had blown drivers which became apparent the first time we tested the room. After those were repaired and we reshot the room the comments started to pour in about how the congregation was finally hearing things like never before.
Outstanding Update

The Driverack PA2 is an outstanding update to the PA line. I have used the PX with great results, but there were a lot of cryptic steps to follow, and using pink noise at the venue was not good. I replaced a Behringer RTA and three way crossover with the PA2, and saw immediate results in speaker performance, including clarity and response. You will need to purchase a WIFI router to use a tablet with the unit. I used an iPad, which detected the PA2 automatically after I joined the router network. Programming the PA2 is a snap with a tablet. You just select a module and set crossovers, limiters, speaker distances with your finger. The curves are right on the screen. The RTA function uses "chirps" to tune the speakers, and is more accurate than pink noise. I like the different settings for small and large venues. I highly recommend this unit for most any band or studio setup.
