dbx RTA-M Reference Microphone for DriveRack PA

Also available in these bundles
Description
The DBX RTA-M Reference Microphone is designed for use with DBX DriveRack PA systems. This omnidirectional condenser mic has an ultra-flat frequency response to provide the accurate measurements needed to optimize your PA. Simply connect the RTA-M to your DriveRack PA, place it in the listening position and the Auto EQ Wizard will automatically detect feedback frequencies and adjust EQ settings for the optimal sound.
Accurate, Omnidirectional Pickup
The RTA-M features an omnidirectional pickup pattern to capture the full, balanced sound of your room. Its condenser element is engineered for a ruler-flat frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, ensuring the DriveRack PA receives an accurate representation of what the audience hears. This allows the Auto EQ Wizard to detect and eliminate feedback-causing frequencies with precision.
Robust and Road-Ready
Housed in a rugged metal chassis, the RTA-M is built to withstand the rigors of live sound with durable construction and a scratch-resistant finish. An included microphone clip provides secure mounting, while the XLR connector enables simple connection to your DriveRack PA. Phantom power from the mixer or DriveRack PA supplies the RTA-M with the 15 to 48V it requires to operate.
optimize Any PA System
While designed for use with DBX DriveRack PA systems, the RTA-M functions as a high-quality condenser measurement mic for optimizing any PA. Place it in the audience area, connect to your mixer, press the Auto EQ button on a DriveRack PA—or your mixer's feedback detection function—and in seconds you'll have a PA tuned for maximum clarity and punch.

I use this primarily as an RTA mic with my Peavey mfx 1220 mixer. It is used in a room with odd angles and speaker placement for our church Praise Team and a wandering minister. I set it approximately 10 feet in front of the mains to "tune the room" (EQ-ing the feed back ferret). It may have other uses that I have not explored, yet. However, I am satisfied with it's performance, so far. It is cheaper than the recommended Peavey RTA mic and just as reliable. High quality precision mic. Comes in a protective case (...a must for our gear which is also used on the road).
Do it!

I have noisy neighbors and i want a good recording of their noise. Will this device record noise in a condominium. I live on the 1st floor, they live on the 2nd floor with 2 kids, and a dog.
This should work for that.
