ddrum's Deccabon drums are 6" in diameter and tuned to represent specific notes in the scale, as each varies in depth. But rather than simply providing the eight notes in a given octave, ddrum has expanded the scale by offering depths from 6" to 24" for more tonal variation and control.

This set includes 14" and 16" black fiberglass Deccabons with a double-braced stand for additional voicings around the kit, tuned melodic passages, or just the right amount of mayhem to make a proper statement.

    Use them live, pratice,etc. Live the high pitch tones. Price is right. Had them for 5 years or so. Lots of playing out. Have held up pretty good. I have gone through multiply heads, probably due to the 6 inch size.

    Great addition to your kit, really wanted to incorporate these into my existing setup, but unfortunately I didn't really have the room that I thought I did next to my Timbale, and I have a set up with a very low profile, and couldn't get the super low stance from the tripod. Not an issue for 90% of most drummers, but just didn't quite work out for me. Other than that, I would still be using them.

    Typical musician scenario!! Went into Guitar Center to pickup a replacement snare stand for my kit. Easy task, right?! Not so fast, Buster!! Hey...these ddrum Deccabons started whispering my name, and next thing ya know, they we my newest additional to my ddrum Diablo kit!! Already using 'em like they have been a part of me from birth!
