Diversity Wireless System

What is a "Diversity" Wireless System? What are the advantages?

A "Diversity" Wireless System employs two separate antennas on the receiver. Several times each second, the receiver analyzes which antenna is picking up a stronger signal and switches to the signal from that antenna, smoothly and silently. This improves overall reception quality and virtually eliminates signal drop-outs.
