This is by far the best hardware bag I've ever used. The large skid plate and robust wheels are just what the doctor ordered. Heavy duty zippers and plenty of room round out its construction features. I previously used Protection Racket hardware bags, which are decent, but these blow them away. They will stand on end too, which is great for storage. Couple the Ogio/Ahead bag with Protection Racket drum bags and you've got the most protection you will ever need to travel with your kit.

Very strudy but flexible unlike a hard case. Looks like it will hold a ton of heavy hardware. Every pocket is padded, which is also a plus. The wheels are bigger and sturdier than most luggage wheels, and look like they'll handle most surfaces well.

Rolls great, very sturdy, lots of straps and handles, and the 38 inch one I got easily holds 2 cymbal stands, 1 timbale stand, 1 conga stand, 1 snare stand, and assorted hardware

I've used this bag for almost 2 years and waited to publish a review because I wanted to be sure it would last. I have to say, this is the absolute best gear bag I have ever used. It holds everything securely with the internal tie downs, and is easy to transport. I use it weekly for rehearsals and regularly for gigs. So easy to move in and out of venues when parking is not always close, and the wheels are strong and haven't failed especially when dropping it out of the van. Great quality, I would recommend this to any drummer who has to move gear regularly. 👍

If we add cushion, will that keep it firmly in place?
