    I bought one of these to replace a 'new" pot I'm my "new" Fender Pro ii Strat. I only bought this Allparts pot because they were out of Fender 250k pots in store. The Luthier recommended this pot and I didn't really want to buy it as I have never heard of Allparts. He recommended I try one and so I did. My "new" Fender pot in my "new" Strat measured 219k, was cutting out and crackle at about 1-2 on the knob (3-10 it would work again(I tried contact cleaner to no avail)) and was too loose spinning. This Allparts pot measured 269k and has a nice resistance when I spin it. Time will tell to see if it holds up and continues to work, but for now I am sold on Allparts pots.
