    I run a split system so I can rehearse/practice and also record. This is designed around one amplifier. But the line out from the amplifier doesn't need to go thru a patch bay because the load could potentially energize the patch bay or burn the individual patch bay modules.

    It's way cheaper than goin to buy a longer instrument cable...especially if you already have too many cables! Snaps in tight on both ends. I think everybody should have at least one of these things sitting around in their tool/gear box.

    I have short guitar cords and I move around a lot during a show. I had a problem. So I bought this and used it to connect two of my cords together and it sounded like one cord. It also works great to take a cord and connect it to a headset for longer reach.
