The Modern Vintage single ply, 10mil, Medium weight drumhead, features a special coating that has the look, feel and warm sound of a calfskin head. The coating is slightly thicker and helps to slow the vibration of the head, which results in a lower, warmer tone with a softer feel and a classic vintage look.

These snare drum heads are suitable for any musical setting where warm tone and full resonance are welcome. These medium weight heads are perfect for either Batter and Resonant heads. Modern Vintage heads make the drums look as good as they sound.

    Love these!!! See my Modern Vintage Tom Head review for more...as much as I LOVE them on toms, I found them just a smidgen too warm and slow on my snare, but that's just me...threw it on my 14" Floor Tom and fell in love! If you have a wood snare and want super warmth, this might do it for you. If you need to tame a metal snare a bit but without killing it, this too could be the one you want...great look, feel, and durability as well! Show Remo that quality control matters, and tell Evans durability matters, and switch to Aquarian!
