The patented Aquarian Safe-T-Loc hoop prevents the drumhead from slipping and the Sound Curve collar design provides "Responsive Tuning." With Responsive Tuning, one turn of the drum key and Aquarian Super-2 heads react. Aquarian includes a free tuning sheet with each Super-2 clear drumhead.

      I'm using this on a mid-sixties Gretsch.Stray overtones are well contained yet the drum still sounds lively and mikes up nicely.Aquarian technology seems to be underrated for the most part.Good stuff!

      There are a lot of heads on the market, and many of them serve different purposes. However, as far as a well rounded clear head for all genres this is the best. It's got more depth than G2's and it' s all around better than any similar Remo I've used. Drop studio rings for punchy glory or leave it open for breath and tone. Very awesome head I do recommend it.
