Description
Insist On a Genuine Bach Mouthpiece. Bach mouthpieces are
designed to meet every conceivable playing need and have for nearly three quarters of a century. A Bach mouthpiece will make a poor instrument play well, a good instrument play better. Volume and excellent intonation, ease of response in the high and low register, rich, uniform timbre throughout the range, and resistance calculated to increase the player's endurance - these characteristics explain why the best professional artists choose Bach.
Because Bach mouthpieces are the accepted standard of quality, their numbers are familiar everywhere as designations for certain models and types. Although Bach mouthpieces have often been copied, they have never been equaled for precision, tuning, and playing characteristics. Only genuine Bach mouthpieces bear the full inscription VINCENT BACH with one of the model numbers.

The mouthpeice every trumpet player should have

Before I had a Bach trumpet, I always used a Bach mouthpeice. I'd recommend them to anyone that plays trumpet, and recommend them in any brand of trumpet for a segnificant improvement. The quaility and finish are easy on the lips and makes it easy to withstand the demands of marching band/concert band/jazz/etc. The metal doesn't resist buzzing- it makes it resonate and makes it really easy to get great tone with little pressure. If you play trumpet- at any level, of any brand- you need a Bach mouthpeice. My favorite sizes are 3C and 3F (for super high playing only, only for advanced players- it could damage younger players chops)
