This BOSE F1 system is the best system both in terms of compact size, clarity and quality of sound as well as venue coverage. If you're a vocalist, or a vocals-centric group, this is a must-have system. All my musicians love it, fans love it... everyone is very impressed.

I use a pair of F1"s and two of the s1 pros for monitors plus the Tone match 8 for a board. It works well for crowds as small as 100 to 1000 plus. I have used without the monitors as well and would say unless you have a loud band behind you the monitors are not necessary, I enjoy the system( it runs quite) no hum. It's way more time consuming to set up than the other Bose systems. But much louder than my L1 or L2's by far. You can hook up all the systems together for big outdoor events.

  • I would buy again.

This subwoofer utilizes two 10 inch woofers. It is lightweight and very compact. It really sounds like an 18 inch woofer. I'm using it with a pair of portable Bose S1 Pro's. I now have a lightweight and very portable PA and I can set it up and carry all on my own! Thanks Bose!

  • I'm all in on the Bose System!

I've been kicking around the idea of a small portable system for a while. While in Fresno Ca., I decided to buy one F-1 sub to experiment with. I and already heard the QSC K-12's and 181's live at the Grand Casino Ballroom east of Oklahoma City and other systems demonstrated in-store. I am all-in on the Bose system simply because of the torture test I gave the F-1. I drove it into limiting and I believe that it is capable of more! My plan was originally to buy 4 F-1's and 2 812's but after testing my single F-1, 4 of them may be overkill. The results I came up with are as follows: The F-1 IS capable and strong. the limiter will activate and is slow to release I did not hear or otherwise detect any audible loss in db or quality of sound. I have a Roland TD-30 kv kit and the F-1 takes my 808 auxiliary kick down in the weeds effortlessly! Thanks Guitar Center Fresno CA for selling such a great product. I can't wait to hear the complete F-1 812 system with the two extra subs on my own terms (buying it and really driving the product hard)! P.S., The sub also passed the teenager bass test because my daughter came running in saying "whatever you just hooked up was shaking the car outside and I'm having a hard time listening to my music"... Teenagers!
