The Breedlove Signature Concert acoustic-electric cutaway pairs torrefied European spruce with African mahogany for a classic powerhouse combination. As part of the Breedlove Organic Collection, now available at Guitar Center, the Signature Concert is ideal for a first-time player, intermediate musician taking a step to the next level or a professional seeking a solid partner for the road. The Breedlove Signature Concert acoustic-electric features soundhole-mounted controls that make engaging the simple Natural Sound electronics easy and effective.

Breedlove Organic Collection Signature Concert CE main features:

Sustainably sourced all-solid African mahogany back and sides with torrefied European spruce top
25.5" scale African mahogany neck with 20-fret Indian laurel fingerboard and bridge, soft cutaway for easy access to all frets
Premium Breedlove chrome closed gear tuners and Breedlove Natural Sound electronics
Semi-gloss Copper Burst finish

Sustainably sourced all-solid wood construction and torrefied top

Breedlove chose African mahogany for acoustic-electric guitars in its Organic Collection Signature Series. To source the FSC Certified African mahogany, the Breedlove team traveled to the African Congo River Basin Rainforest. The mahogany construction of the Breedlove Signature Concert acoustic-electric delivers a warm, rich tone that's ideal for players looking for a balanced and rich sound.

The torrefaction process, accomplished at the source in the Swiss Alps, offers Signature models an "aged" sound and makes for easier maintenance during fluctuations in temperature and humidity.

Soft cutaway design for easy fret access

Breedlove engineered their soft cutaway design to offer the smoothest, most comfortable access to the highest register. The soft cutaway design allows access to all 20 frets without diminishing the projection and balanced tone of the Breedlove Signature Concert. The unique design of Breedlove's soft cutaway balances the higher energy treble notes with the lower energy bass tones.

Breedlove Natural Sound electronics

The Breedlove Organic Collection Signature Series Concert is equipped with Breedlove's Natural Sound electronics. Natural Sound electronics feature soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, plus easy battery replacement.

Thin UV finish

The Breedlove Signature Concert features a significantly thinner UV-finished top. The thin UV-finished top reduces weight and also contributes to a more complex sound with sustained overtones.

Other special features of the Breedlove Signature Concert acoustic-electric cutaway include forward X bracing and a bone nut and saddle.

About the Breedlove Organic Collection

The result of a three-year journey, the Breedlove Organic Collection brings sustainably sourced, FSC Certified, solid native and exotic tonewoods to an affordable line of acoustic-electrics for the very first time. Each wood combination is available in Breedlove's three distinctive, popular shapes—Concerto, Concert and 12-fret Concertina. The Signature Series and Wildwood Series are also available in the new travel-size Companion shape. Breedlove Organic models feature thin UV finishes and Breedlove Natural Sound electronics. With no synthetic materials and less than half the glue of similar models, the Breedlove Organic Collection provides the natural path to uninhibited solid sound.

Best playing, Best sounding guitar in any price range

I have been on a mission to find "the one" workhorse guitar. Knowing it may have to be two to get the sounds I wanted. I went into the store and played every guitar I could get my hands on. Taylors, Martins, Gibsons, Yamahas, Guilds, you name it I played it. Then I found the Breedlove Organic Concert and was completely BLOWN AWAY! very nice bottom end, sparkling highs and has a very nice flat frequency response across the spectrum. It blew away the Taylors, Martins, and Gibsons. Plenty of saddle height to play with to get the action you want, the most resonant of all the guitars I played, and it projects very well. Electronics are fantastic and the more you dig in, the more it gives you. The Martins and the Taylors sounded restricted and compressed compares to this. The only nit pick is if you are one of those people that have to have things immaculate, no glue smudges on the inside, etc then this is not the guitar for you as mine has ONE light smudge from extra glue, but who spends their time looking that close to the inside of the guitar. Other than that everything is perfect. Do yourself a favor and PLAY IT!

  • Guitar Strings OM - D'Addario XT PB Light 12-gauge

I saw a number of people ask about what were the OM stings that Breedlove uses. Breedlove guitar with a Companion, Concertina, or Concert body shape is stocked with D'Addario XT PB Light 12-gauge strings, formerly known as EXP16's. Your Breedlove with a Concerto Body shape has D'Addario XT PB Medium strings.

  • I have the obsidian version.

Found one on clearance. I wanted the Taylor academy 12 and I think the Taylor sounds fuller and better but it doesn't have a Cutaway though. Ultimately I bought the breedlove because it's the look I want, plays very well, ALL SOLID WOOD, and the deal was very solid. You really can't go wrong with breedlove. If I was you reading this I would definitely keep breedlove in arsenal.

  • PLEASANTLY SURPRISED...NO SHOCKED!

I recently bought a Taylor Baby Guitar at Guitar Center. I liked the size but was disappointed in the sound or playability. I returned the Taylor and looked at the Baby Martin but was not impressed. I luckily discovered and bought a small size Breedlove Concertina. It has become my absolute favorite despite having a Fender Redondo, Guild Jumbo, and Taylor Koa GS Mini, and my 20 year old Martin D15. The Breedlove is beautiful in sound, playability and appearance.

  • Love it!!!

I've been playing guitar for over 60 years and have a significant collection of electric, acoustic-electric, and standard acoustic guitars...I purchased this "BREEDLOVE" guitar on 11/10/2021 at my local Guitar Center. This "BREEDLOVE" is an awesome instrument and will become (I'm sure) my stage performance guitar. I can run it through any of my amps..Roland, Peavey, Fender, Bose...and the sound is amazing....unplugged it's great. The build quality is perfect. This "BREEDLOVE" guitar, is a KEEPER!...

I am considering buying this guitar but it does not come with a case. I see there is one hard case made by Breedlove. My question is: being that the concert size is smaller than the concerto, will the guitar rattle around in the case? I would be hoping for a decent fit.

It would be a decent fit, there would be a little bit of movement once it's broken in. For an exact fit you would need to special order the case specifically designed for this guitar.
