    I am a user of the coated version of this head but needed to get a similar performance for an acrylic snare so; this fitted perfectly

    Durable and always tough to get because they are out of stock (each time for past 3 yrs), there has to be a good reason for that. We use ours for a drum line class for over 50 youth ages 8 to 16, who give them a tremendous beating and they stand up and sound great. Our music Teacher who has been beating drums for over 50 years has feel in love with them and that's why each year we are willing to wait, good product, great price.
