I bought this bass last March then proceeded to wait 3 months for it. I finally picked it up a week ago. I plugged it in and was met with disappointment. The pick ups are weak and the neck is very wide. The neck feels as wide as one of my 6 string basses. At least I have an extra string for the same width. The neck of this bass has a knot in the back at the 3rd fret. Every time my hand slides by it, I feel it. If the bass played and felt as good as it looks I'd be happy but, this is not an enjoyable bass to play or listen to. I have cheaper basses that sound and play much better than this. This was my first Cort bass. I don't think I'd buy any other basses from Cort based on this experience.
Love this bass!

I love this bass! I contacted Guitar Center to special order it for me before they decided to carry this model. It looks and sounds amazing. The craftsmanship is very high. The wood choices and finish are beautiful and I love the abalone inlay on the fretboard. Out of the box, mine only needed tuning and it was ready to play without further setup. The frets were already dressed, good action and issues anywhere with finish. The 2 Bartolini pickups, blend and e band eq, plus choice of active or passive provide a huge range of tonal options. It's very playable. It just feels good in my hands, sitting or standing. The contours, weight and balance make it really comfortable. It's strange - it has a 34" scale, but it gas the feel almost like playing a small short scale bass.
