The Circuit Breaker instrument cable with latching cut-off switch has the same solderless plug connection as its predecessor, but features an actuated "kill switch" that allows for noise-free instrument changes. Press the switch once to mute the signal to the amplifier completely. Press again to reactivate the signal flow. This is the right angle plug version.

    This appears to be a very high quality cord. The ends are very big and solid and seem like they will protect the wire connectors. I really like the cutoff switch. I expect it to stop working at some point in the future, but only time will tell. I would buy one of these again.

    The latching switch is nice, makes unplugging from my Taylor guitar easy without noise which saves my battery. The card is stiff and doesn't want to lay flat, I think that will correct itself as the cord gets broke in.

    Breaker worked as stated - but kept backing off and losing contact. Ended up swapping out after first set. Was using a Taylor 814 where it plugs into where the strap is.

    It works as it's supposed to. I hope that this is the new normal for cables. I would have preferred a shorter cable than what was available at the time, but that is the only detail that I would change.
