The Planet Waves Modular Snake features interchangeable break-outs for easy and flexible wiring options. Using industry-standard analog pinouts (TASCAM pinout reference), this Planet Waves snake is made with a proprietary multi-pair snake cable. It features oxygen-free copper conductors and 100% shielding for low noise, low signal loss construction. Additionally, it features Amphenol gold-plated connectors for optimal signal transference, corrosion resistance and strain relief.

For even more connecting convenience, both American 4-40 thread and metric locking screws are included.

    Used this for a custom snake I built to connect pedal board to amp. It carries a mic signal, 2 cat 5 runs, & a midi run. I built my own breakout boxes on each end with db 25 connectors from redco audio. This was a much less expensive option than building my own snake & it works perfectly. It is worth noting that only 24 of the 25 pins are connected from end to end. There is one pin which does nothing. I knew about this before ordering thanks to someone's helpful review, but it's worth noting that if you're using this for a custom purpose you'll only have 24 pins to work with...which luckily for me was exactly what I needed. I may buy another at some point.
