Auto Lock Guitar Strap: Never Drop Your Guitar Again

D'Addario

collapse expand iconDescription

The D'Addario Comfort Leather Auto Lock guitar strap provides you a simple, integrated strap locking system for your performances. Simply slide the strap end over your guitar's strap buttons and it automatically locks in place—it's that easy. The gray latch is spring-loaded so it clamps down on the strap button and won't release until you want it to. Just push up on the gray latch, slide off the end and the strap is removed. It works with most strap buttons. Designed in partnership with Ned Steinberger, the Comfort Leather Auto Lock guitar strap is available in 2.5'' and 3'' widths so you can choose the size that suits your guitar and comfort needs.

  • Super Comfy, but doesn't fit 40th Anniversary Squier

This strap is super comfortable and the locking feature is so easy. The leather is very flexible, and the width is great for the weight of a bass guitar. I tried it with various basses at the store, including a Squier jazz bass, and loved it. I took it home and… it doesn't fit on the strap buttons of my 40th Anniversary Squier Jazz Bass. Apparently this thing has massive strap buttons. It also has a bit looser of a fit on my Sterling Ray4 (Stingray), giving me some hesitation about using it. Unfortunately that means it's getting returned to Guitar Center. But if it fits your bass, I would highly recommend it.
