  • Best guitar strings for double-paired music playing.

Elixir strings are usually a bit expensive than other string brands, -such as Martin or D'Addario strings. However, you get what you pay for and these strings are definitely the most reliable for any musician looking to use double-paired strings on their guitar. #sweepstakes

When it comes to my acoustic guitars, I have always been an Elixir string guy and when I went to replace my strings at the local Guitar Center recently, my favorites were not on the shelf so I grabbed a set of the D'addario XS pack that had the same specs as the Elixers I had come to purchase. I'd read some good things on line about them wondering if it was all just hype and decided to give them a go. When I put them on my Taylor GS5 I was shocked at the clarity and warmth these strings gave to my guitar. Yes, they were a little more expensive than my usual, but it was definitely worth it and I will probably be buying these again.

These are my favorites, they found very good and last longer than any other ones I've used. I prefer the 10's with a 12 on top of anyone cares.

Surprisingly enough these strings match up to their claims of being long lasting and having a smooth feel. Tone and feel are good as well. I bought 2 sets and I honestly haven't notice a great difference in tone or feel in at least 2 weeks. I have been playing quite a bit lately too. I will purchase again.
