D'Andrea 347 Rounded Teardrop Delrex Delrin Guitar Picks - One Dozen Purple 1.14 mm

I've tried several different picks and this is my least favorite. I find it hard to hold on to. It's constantly slipping around and gets dropped often. I know some people love them but I am not a fan.

I found these picks while looking for an affordable, yet sturdy, pick that fits somewhere between your usual standard shape and a more precise, jazzy shape. I have to say I was very impressed with these little guys. The picks themselves are quality made, with no unfinished edges in the pack, and last quite a while. They're very adaptable, taking chords of all kinds to pinch-squealing metal like nobody's business. If I had one complaint it would be that the delrin material they're made of, while pleasant to the ears and the hands, doesn't stick to your fingers very well, and they like to jump out if you're not careful, but not too often. All in all, very satisfactory for practice or recording.

These picks were exactly what I was looking for! They have a warm sound without any 'flapping' sound that you might find on another thin pick. I attribute this to the rounded end which gives it that warmer sound. Great for fast strumming on the acoustic. My only grip is that there's no texture. Often the pick moves when loosing up you fingers and hand. I think I'm going to drill some small holes to help this out. Otherwise, great sounding pick for warm folk strumming.
