    It's just a cable, so it's hard to make it "not work". Works just as well as the original 8 ft one. Installation was a bit tricky since it didn't come with any instructions. Thankfully, there is an exploded view of the full remote hihat system that can be downloaded from the DW website, so it helps understand how everything is assembled. Still, a step by step instruction list should be pretty easy to provide with the product (or link to a webpage), and would have saved me quite some time (and sweat).

    What can I say,,,, Nice cable? I purchased this cable because the 8 footer was not quite long enough. Was shipped by itself in a box with no installation instructions. That's why it only 4 stars!
