Dunlop Trigger Classical Guitar Capo Black

Description
Dunlop is proud to introduce the Trigger Classical Guitar Capo. This innovative capo is designed specifically for nylon-string classical guitars. Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, the Trigger Capo provides a strong yet padded, spring-loaded grip that can be quickly engauged or released with the squeeze of your fingers. Its low-profile, minimalist design ensures clear fret access while the capo's conforming pressure pad creates a buzz-free clamping along the fingerboard and frets. For guitarists seeking a high-performance capo that provides accurate tuning and intonation, the Trigger is an essential accessory.
Aircraft-Grade Aluminum for Lightweight Durability
The Trigger Capo's aircraft-grade aluminum construction provides an ultra-light and durable frame. At just 1.6 ounces, the capo adds negligible weight to your guitar while its high-grade aluminum ensures longevity and resistance to bending or warping over time. The material's natural slip-resistance also gives the capo a strong, secure grip along the fingerboard. Overall, the Trigger Capo's lightweight yet durable design makes it a capo you can count on for flawless performance at every gig or studio session.
Low-Profile, Padded Clamping Jaws
The Trigger Capo features a spring-loaded clamping mechanism with padded jaws that provide a strong yet scratch-free grip. The capo's minimalist design ensures unimpeded access along the fingerboard while its conforming pressure pad evenly distributes clamping force. This helps produce accurate intonation and buzz-free playing up and down the neck. For guitarists seeking a capo that provides precision tuning without compromising tone or playability, the Trigger Capo is an ideal choice.
Quick and Easy Operation
With the Trigger Capo, you'll be ready to perform in seconds. Its spring-loaded mechanism allows you to quickly engauge and release the capo with the squeeze of two fingers. The capo's intuitive design also makes it easy to reposition along the neck as needed between songs. The Trigger Capo provides a straightforward solution for achieving instant changes in key and intonation.

does fine and worth the price
I bought this capo a few weeks ago from GC, via mail order. It came promptly and it works great. Grips better, and holds the strings down better, than the felt ribbon capo I had been using for years. If you need a capo for a lot of your playing I would definitely recommend this.

Buzz
It doesn't hold all the strings down across the fretboard. The high E buzzes and turning the capo around doesn't help. This one will sit in the drawer.

This appears to be a flat surface for the strings. How wide is the pad that contacts the strings? At the highest point on the flat fingerboard of my Washburn classical guitar, that I would be using this capo for, would need to be a minimum of 2.5 inches.
You should have about .5 " hang off for your guitar.
