I bought the newest X Series for my ML's; I liked it so much that I bought a 2nd for my regular-shaped guitars. If you play gigs that require two guitars at a time, then you NEED this case. It's worth it because this case is less than 2 TSA-style cases but has a smaller footprint.

How much does this weigh without any contents? Do most airlines check it as a regular bag?

    1) 28 lbs. 2) I’m sorry, I don’t know. It's 47 x 18 x 12.5. I don't know if that would be regular baggage.
