I don't care if it says Epiphone on the headstock, this is a tremendous guitar. I have been playing for over 40 years and this is as good as it gets.

I've owned this guitar a few weeks now and can't really describe how good it is. I own several Gibsons, my favorite being my 2019 Les Paul Traditional. This new Epiphone stands head & shoulders over that Gibson in many ways. Most of which are the tones. These Custombuckers are probably the best set of pickups I've ever played thru in my 30+ years as a guitarist. Very musical, very open sounding. Both clean and with dirt, they sound amazing. Visually, this guitar is beautiful. A nice, tight AAA grain that looks fantastic. I spent a little time polishing the top and sides and now it really pops. The neck shape isn't nearly as chunky as I'd expected, and it feels more like a Gibson neck than any Epi I've ever played. Feels natural in the hand. I owned the previous version of the Epiphone '59 Les Paul and I wasn't all that impressed. This is an entirely different guitar. And it's a big improvement. Even the hard shell case is better. This sounds great thru my Katana practice amp and thru my big Marshall. Just an overall great, pro-grade Les Paul for less than half the price of a new Gibson. The Mother of Pearl inlays and the Open Book Headstock are really nice touches too. Very impressive and worth every penny.

What is the weight of this les paul
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. I'm sorry but I don't have one to weigh. This will be approximately 8 - 8.5 lbssubmitteda year ago
