Epiphone Crestwood Custom Electric Guitar Polaris White

Description
The Epiphone Crestwood Custom Electric Guitar is a spot-on re-creation of the earliest Epiphone Crestwood models that defined the brand in the late '50s and early '60s. This sleek double-cutaway electric guitar features a symmetrical mahogany body and glued-in mahogany neck for enhanced sustain and easy playability. Equipped with two Epiphone PRO mini humbucker pickups, the Crestwood Custom delivers a crisp, articulate tone with focused highs and biting midrange. The Epiphone Crestwood Custom—a guitar with vintage style and modern performance.
PRO Mini Humbuckers Provide Vintage-Inspired Tone
The two Epiphone PRO mini humbucking pickups provide a clear, articulate tone reminiscent of '50s and '60s era guitars. With focused highs, punchy midrange and tight lows, the mini humbuckers excel at everything from rock and blues to jazz and country. Combined with high-quality CTS potentiometers, these pickups ensure the Crestwood Custom sounds as good as it looks.
Easy-Playing Neck and 12" Radius Fingerboard
The Crestwood Custom's glued-in mahogany neck has a comfortable medium C-profile and 12" radius Indian laurel fingerboard, making it easy to play. 22 medium jumbo frets provide a familiar feel for guitarists accustomed to modern fretboards. An eye-catching pearloid block inlay graces the neck, harkening back to the earliest Epiphone designs.
High-Performance Hardware and Vintage-Style Bridge
The Crestwood Custom features high-performance hardware for tuning stability and sustain, including an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge with Graph Tech TUSQ saddles and Tremtone vibrato tailpiece. The bridge provides a rock-solid anchor for each string while the tailpiece adds subtle vibrato effects. Top hat knobs, an ivory toggle switch tip, and ivory tuning buttons complete the vintage aesthetic.
Distinctive Styling with a Modern Flair
From its symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body to its reduced-size Kalamazoo headstock, the Crestwood Custom exudes '50s style with modern playability. An eye-catching clear pickguard emblazoned with a stylized "E" logo and sparkling cherry finish give this guitar a distinctive look. With premium features and components at an affordable price, the Epiphone Crestwood Custom is a reimagined classic worthy of its name.

I added the Epiphone Crestwood (Polaris White) to my collection three and half months ago and I really enjoy it. The build quality is excellent - frets, tremolo, neck, bridge, nut, and body are very high quality. It's easy to adjust the string height and intonation. Overall, a beautiful guitar as well in Polaris White with the wood tailpiece. Looks very much like what you would expect from the photos. The mini-humbuckers sound full on my small amps (Vox AV60 and Roland JC-40) without any muddiness at high volumes, and it plays wonderfully for pop and alternative rock styles. The tremolo is solid and is easy to use when playing, and I like it more than the whammy bar on my Fender Strat. I chose the Crestwood guitar over the Epiphone SG Custom because it better suits my stage image, and appreciate that this is a reboot of a classic Epiphone with the bikini logo headstock.

First Epiphone… I can be a bit of a gear snob (I'm not proud of it…) and own several high dollar instruments. I was VERY surprised by this little Epi. It's light, rings like a bell, the electronics are first class (I haven't even considered a pickup or wiring swap). And… it's different than just another Strat/Tele/LP copy. I love it!
would buy again, great guitar

major upgrade from my shecter c-6 plus, makes playing feel alot more comfortable, although the bridge pickup makes a noise sounding like a wah when ever im playing hard, its easily ignorable. 9.5/10
Beware of Sawfish

I grabbed one of these in white from the wall at the local GC because it looked great. Unfortunately, the fret ends felt like a sawfish. It was the worst case of fret sprout I have ever experienced, even worse than some very low priced guitars that I have picked up. Hopefully, this particular guitar was an outlier and not representative of the quality of all Epiphone Crestwood Customs. Needless, to say, this one went back on the wall instead of coming home with me.

Looks phenomenal ,the setup was dead on. The neck profile feels very comfortable and snappy. The trem is fun. Fretboard and bridge woods looked pretty thirsty though probably from hanging on the wall for a while. Anybody at guitar center know how to oil a fretboard?

What is the weight of this guitar?
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 7.5 lbssubmitted4 years ago
