ProBucker Pickups Produce Versatile, Dynamic Tones
This guitar's ProBucker 2 and ProBucker 3 humbuckers offer tonal flexibility for a wide range of musical applications. The neck pickup creates smooth, warm tones perfect for blues and rock, while the bridge pickup provides increased output and bite for lead lines that cut through the mix. Independent volume and tone controls allow players to fine-tune their sound, while the 3-way selector switch lets you alternate between pickups or blend them for added depth. From clean rhythms to aggressive distortion, these pickups deliver articulate and powerful tones that adapt to the demands of your playing.
Gold Hardware Provides Premium Visual Appeal
The Epiphone Les Paul Custom's gold hardware elevates its appearance, creating a look that's both bold and sophisticated. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece ensure superior string stability while accentuating the guitar's elegant design. Grover Rotomatic tuners, also gold-plated, deliver precise tuning and complement the body's stunning finish. Gold binding on the body, neck and headstock enhances the guitar's luxurious aesthetic, while pearloid block inlays and the mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo add a final touch of class. Together, these elements create a timeless look that grabs attention on any stage.
SlimTaper Neck Enhances Comfort and Playability
This Les Paul model features a SlimTaper mahogany neck designed for effortless playability. Its satin finish reduces friction, enabling smooth movement during fast runs and intricate chord transitions. The 12" fingerboard radius provides an ideal surface for comfortable bending and chording, while the set-neck construction improves sustain and stability. Combined with the ebony fingerboard's crisp response and refined feel, this neck design makes technical performances and extended playing sessions a breeze. Whether you're recording or performing live, the SlimTaper neck delivers precision and comfort at every turn.
Ebony Fingerboard for Crisp Note Articulation
An ebony fingerboard adds high-end refinement to this instrument, both visually and tonally. Known for its dense, smooth surface, ebony provides fast, effortless playability while ensuring exceptional note clarity. Its natural brightness complements the warmth of the mahogany body and neck, creating a balanced tonal foundation. Pearloid block inlays and gold binding further enhance the fingerboard's striking appearance, making it a standout feature that pairs perfectly with the guitar's quilted mahogany top. This premium addition ensures lasting performance and upscale aesthetics.
Built for Reliable Performance
The hardware on this model is engineered for durability and consistent performance. Grover Rotomatic tuners offer exceptional tuning stability, while the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece optimize string vibration transfer for improved sustain. Absolutely the best Epiphone I've bought since my Adam Jones. And probably the best looking Les Paul I've owned in thirty years. You don't need to get a new Inspired by Gibson Custom to get great tones and killer looks. The Probucker Custom pickups in this guitar sound GREAT. Especially with some Gain. And the looks? C'mon man, it's beautiful This guitar needs nothing to be a great player, and that's something I never thought I would say about an Epiphone.
Very, VERY Good.

I initially went to GC to trade off some old unused gear I had laying around, with no new purchase in mind. When I saw this Custom on the wall, I fell in love with the looks. To be honest, I've owned many of the new Epiphones, and this feels like no other. The neck doesn't feel like the Slim Taper that they're advertising, it feels thicker. Almost similar to my Adam Jones. It's a nice handful. And the pickups sound like no other Probuckers I've ever played. They're much clearer and brighter, without being harsh. They sound great clean and handle gain extremely well. No need to swap them out. And the looks? Just beautiful. The top looks much deeper than a simple veneer would indicate. Pictures do this guitar no justice. That gorgeous top with the Gold hardware is just stunning. The store that I bought mine from only had one in stock, so I got the model from the wall. But it was setup almost perfectly. I only need to put on my favorite strings and treat the fretboard. The action is nice and low, intonation is spot-on. It's staying in tune perfectly and all the electronics are working flawlessly. It plays and sounds like a Les Paul that should be much more expensive. The included gig bag is a nice touch, but this guitar deserves a quality hard shell case. I am SERIOUSLY impressed with this new Les Paul Custom, and I've been at this for over 30 years. Now I don't know exactly just how "Limited" this guitar will be, but if you're in the market for a unique, great playing, great sounding BEAUTIFUL Les Paul, this should be on your radar.

Love the CobraBurst! The binding on mine is very white but it offsets well with the color scheme and the ebony fretboard. I'm a big fan of the new Probucker Customs which this has, but the Probucker 2 & 3 that the description says. Minimal setup and it played great. Just lubed the nut and tuned and was ready to go.

The store hadn't opened their inventory yet so I got to see the ocean blue and cobra burst before they ever hit the wall. The ocean blue one had a better quilt veneer but the cobra burst is something I'd been wanting since seeing it on an ES Gibson LP in the mid 2010s. Finally, Epiphone releasing an affordable version and I'm sold. Came flawlessly from the factory. Just had to tune it up and play. My Epiphones don't take a back seat to my Gibsons at all, I can even deal with the gold hardware which normally isn't my favorite, but it works perfectly with the finish. Get these while you can, they're awesome! My only complaint is the silly gig bags. Just skip them, I have a closet full of them because I buy hard shell cases for all my guitars. I'd much rather Epiphone just raise the price 50-100 and give me what I want. The old molded soft shell cases were better but I still bought hard shells anyway. I guess they make great gifts to my friend's kids when they're starting out.
