I love playing this guitar
This is my first Epiphone Les Paul. When I saw the Widow edition I jumped on it and bought a red one. The finish is unique and beautiful. I plugged it in and started playing. Wow does this guitar sound good! Lots of tone on tap via the knobs and pickup switch, and it sounds wonderful coming out of my amps and effects. The pickups in this Les Paul Widow are no joke, they are giving me everything I ask for. At this point I think there's no reason for me to change them out. The guitar is meaty but not too heavy. The neck is comfortable and smooth. It's easy to get to the fret you want. It stays in tune and feels solid. I haven't found a downside yet. The rumors are true, Epiphone is making some great instruments. I look forward to many years of rocking out on this excellent guitar.

Great Guitar! The guitar center in Redmond lied tho
Got this in indigo burst. Absolutely stunning to look at and shred on. Was told it was handcrafted in Indonesia. After close look, I saw that they removed the "handcrafted in china" sticker so they would sell it faster. No problem with Chinese gear for me but I hate being lied too

I got/ordered this almost immediately upon learning about. My specific Orange Widow was featured on "The Trogly's Guitar Show" (YouTube). The thing is perfect in everyway. There is one thing that it is lacking for me though. That is the pick ups. They just don't quite do it for me. I just don't fully like the sound out of them. Now for 2/3 finger power chord punk rock stuff, I'm golden. But as I get older I'm preferring more chords and soloing type stuff, and these picks ups just don't have quite the clarity I'm looking for when trying to drive my tube amp. Everything else is perfect. Thin neck, low action, plays fast and easy, looks UNBELIEVABLY awesome. Definitely happy with my purchase.

Yes, it's a 3 piece body, with veneer top and back, but dang, I love the sound & playability of this guitar. My Gibson 335 is a gem, but this one'll get the gig play time. Don't pre-judge negatively. Had two Gibson's lately, this meets my requirements more. Looks nice, as well.

Well what can you say. It's absolutely stunning to see and fantastic to hold and play. I still say that the China factories are the highest quality. The Widow sounds great unplugged and plugged in. I have the indigo burst. Get one while you still can.
