Comfortable, weight-minimizing strap!
I bought this for use with a bass guitar. I've previously used Levy's 3.25" neoprene straps, which are very comfortable & actually make a bass feel lighter. The 2 straps are very similar, (this one slightly thinner) but I was curious to try one of these because of the strap-locking feature. It costs a bit less than the Levy's, too! I shortened mine to the shortest length possible, as I like to wear my bass rather high on my chest. The strap-lock function works pretty well, but does rub a bit against the horn of the bass when moving around.

Works OK for some guitars and not very well for others
Before you commit to this strap, make sure that it will be compatible with your guitar. It should work with guitars that have a strap button on a horn like a Strat, or on the side of the body where the strap button is facing to the side pointing towards your headstock like a Les Paul or Telecaster. It will not work well with guitars that have a strap button on the neck heel or back where the button is facing backwards towards you. That includes guitars like SGs, ES-335s, Explorers, etc. The strap ends are too chunky and you can't flip them over and slide them over the button from the reverse side. You will have a twist in your strap if you try to use this with guitars that have the latter strap button orientation and that can be very uncomfortable. Another design issue is that the ends slide on and off some buttons very tightly and require enough effort that you start to worry you will be ripping your strap button out of the wood or at a minimum, loosening the button or rubbing the finish off your guitar. Maybe they will ease up a little over time with use. On the plus side, the padding with the strap is very comfortable. I have the 3" wide version and it distributes the weight fairly well. It may be a bit on the long side for some guitars with the button on the top horn, depending on how tall you are and how far down you prefer the guitar to hang while playing. If the stores weren't all closed down now and I could return the strap to a store without paying return shipping, I would have done that already. I would not buy it again. The concept is good but poorly executed. I have another much cheaper strap with simpler flat plastic locking ends that has worked for years with no issues and is compatible with all guitars and button types. The only problem is that it is a thin 2" cloth strap and doesn't have the nice padding that this one does so I thought this would be an upgrade.

The neoprene although VERY comfortable and weight releiveing, but is also very slippery, I didnt even know I had neck dice on the guitar I bought this strap for, until I put this strap on the guitar and whoa! That aint going to workl. It'll work on another guitar though, I have several, (as we tend to do) so the strap won't go to waste.

If zero stars was an option that's what it would get. After about a month of use the strap snapped in half. Luckily I didn't drop my guitar. Total failure with this product. Purchase at your own risk.

How people use any other strap style is beyond me. Neoprene with foam inside is simply 1000x better than a flat piece of nylon digging into your shoulder. The snap on straplock style fasteners at the end seal the deal. 10/10 purchase. #sweepstakes

I got this strap the same day that I got a P bass. The locking straps are a nice touch and compliment well to the guitar. It's comfortable but a bit smaller than what I'm used to, but it's perfect for bass, especially whenever I'm standing up. I might get another one for one of my other guitars. #sweepstakes

I got this along with my bass guitar. It's great at least for starting out on bass. At some point, I will upgrade to one that is longer yet has the same comfort, but regardless, this strap is easy to use and super comfortable to wear. I might also try this on guitar one day, but for now, it's staying with my bass.

Getting older so I have been looking for a good strap for my 12 string acoustic. The thin ones dig in shoulder the big leather ones are ok. This one is super comfortable and the strap lock is a bonus.
