Fender American Professional II Stratocaster HSS HT Roasted Maple Neck Limited-Edition Electric Guitar Smoke

Description
The limited-edition Fender American Professional II Stratocaster HSS brings a fresh edge to a classic design, combining hot-rodded tone with premium appointments. It features a roasted maple neck for added stability and a smooth feel, a sandblasted finish that reveals the natural ash grain and an HSS pickup configuration that adds versatility and muscle. Made in the USA, this Stratocaster is designed for modern players who want standout tone, looks and performance.
Versatile HSS Pickup Configuration
This model is loaded with a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucker in the bridge and two Seymour Duncan SSL-6 single coils in the middle and neck positions. The JB brings punch and power for high-gain lead tones, while the SSL-6s offer vintage clarity with added output—ideal for blues, rock and modern pop. A 5-way blade switch gives you immediate access to a wide range of sonic textures.
Roasted Maple Neck With Smooth Playability
The roasted maple neck gives this Strat its upscale feel and rock-solid reliability. With a modern C profile, satin urethane finish and 22 medium-jumbo frets on a 9.5" fingerboard radius, you’ll move easily between lead lines and rhythm work. It feels instantly familiar and performance-ready the moment you pick it up.
Sandblasted Finish and Chambered Ash Body
Like its Tele counterpart, this Strat features a sandblasted satin urethane finish that enhances the texture and natural beauty of the ash body. The chambered construction makes it lighter and more resonant, with a refined aesthetic that sets it apart from traditional models. Black hardware and pickguard complete the aggressive modern look.
Hardtail Bridge for Maximum Stability
This Stratocaster is built for rock-solid performance with a 6-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge. It delivers improved sustain and tuning stability, perfect for players who demand consistent performance without the need for a tremolo system. Paired with Fender locking tuners, the setup is optimized for reliability during demanding sets and sessions.
Built for Strat Fans Who Want More
If you're drawn to the feel of a traditional Strat but want extra output, versatile tone and a modernized build, this limited-edition HSS model delivers. From clean highs to crunchy lows, it's a precision instrument designed for expressive, genre-spanning performance.

Beautiful lightweight Strat!

I'd been in the market for a hard tail Strat for a while, and this checked all the boxes and then some. The roasted maple modern C neck is comfortable and fast. The chambered ash body makes this nice and light. I was concerned the chambering might compromise that Strat sound, but it really doesn't. It sounds great! The Seymour Duncan's are a great pickup for a wide array of styles. My other Strat has the Fender 59's and I'm able to get the same tone outta this. Lastly, it's the very first guitar I've gotten new that didn't need setup, even at this price point. Intonation was great out of the box, with no bridge, truss,or fret work needed. The crew at the Nashua NH store were awesome to deal with as always. This is a great guitar with weight comparable to the Aerodyne Strats, but in my opinion much better classic Strat sound.
