Outstanding Ukulele

I received this beautiful sapphire blue ukulele for my birthday and thoroughly enjoy playing it. The tone is full and the build is high quality. I play for fun and relaxation but would not hesitate to use this instrument on stage if the situation presented itself. It sounds great plugged in too.
I am impressed!

Admittedly I was smitten by the look of this uke. The deep blue color, the neck and back embellishments, along with the classic Fender headstock made the instrument stand out. When you unpack it, you get the feeling that the uke is punching above its weight in terms of quality/price. I bought the uke to my daughter and her husband as they are including music in their lifestyle, and I confess I considered keeping it and buying them another one! But I will be good and send it on. I am swapping out the strings with a Low G set as I find that so much more friendly for folks with guitar chops. Tone is good. Playing leads up the neck sound good. Electronics are good--on board tuner is great. Even has a decent gig case. This is an eye- catching instrument that should age well. Great as a "real" starter uke or to add to your collection.

Number one thang for any uke is that it stays in tune! The etching on back should have been darker but who really cares in long run. Should be getting any instrument to play it, not look at it! Like integrated pickup. Great starter uke! Beatle George would be rightly chuffed! Nothing more noble than spreading music and fun!!,
