The Mark Hoppus bass guitar pays tribute to the signature sound and style of Blink-182’s legendary bassist. Modeled after the well-worn Jaguar bass Mark Hoppus has used for decades, this limited-edition Fender release delivers the punchy, aggressive tone that defined an era of pop-punk. With its distinctive offset Jaguar body, reversed pickups, and stage-ready build, the Mark Hoppus Jaguar bass is perfect for players seeking energetic performance and unmistakable style.

Punchy Tone With SPB-3 Quarter Pound Pickups

At the heart of the Hoppus bass is a set of Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound split-coil pickups. Known for their punchy attack, deep low end, and clear highs, these pickups deliver the powerful and articulate sound that is ideal for punk, rock, and pop. Mounted in a reversed configuration, the pickups produce Mark Hoppus’ signature aggressive tone, making this bass a go-to for players who need to cut through any mix. The HiMass vintage-style bridge ensures precise intonation and enhances sustain for a bold, resonant sound.

Classic Jaguar Body With Stylish Appointments

The Mark Hoppus Jaguar bass features the iconic offset Jaguar body made from lightweight alder for a comfortable and balanced feel. The four-ply white pearloid pickguard contrasts beautifully against the classic sunburst finish, giving the bass a bold, vintage-inspired look. Mark Hoppus’ “Hi My Name is Mark” logo on the custom neck plate and the included deluxe gig bag adds a personal touch, making this bass a collector’s dream. White pearloid dot inlays along the rosewood fingerboard enhance its visual appeal, while premium components like the synthetic bone nut and open-gear tuners ensure consistent performance.

Built for Stage-Ready Performance

Designed for energy and speed, the Hoppus bass is built with live performance in mind. The satin-finished maple neck features a custom C-profile, offering a smooth and fast playing feel for energetic styles. Its lightweight Jaguar body minimizes fatigue during long gigs, making it perfect for players who move around on stage. The included deluxe gig bag ensures safe transport and protection, so you can take your Mark Hoppus bass wherever the music takes you.

The Sound of a Punk Rock Icon

The Fender limited-edition Mark Hoppus Jaguar bass captures the unmistakable sound and style of one of punk rock’s most iconic players. With its powerful Seymour Duncan pickups, comfortable Jaguar body, and unique visual touches, this Mark Hoppus bass is built for musicians who want to bring bold, energetic tone to the stage. I'm a fan of Blink, but certainly no fanboy. I went to GC to pick up a P bass I bought online. It was set up so badly that I didn't buy it. Fender really does need to step up its QC, especially for any guitar above $1k. I looked around the store and found myself picking up the Jag in between trying out some other P-basses. This just felt great in the hands. Clean, simple, and growls. A lot of people gripe about the 'no tone knob'. But I kind of dig the simplicity of it. Maybe a one-trick pony, but it does the trick well.

Really happy with getting this bass. Pretty big fan of Blink and Mark, plus it is different than my other two basses. Seems to be the quality to my MIM P bass and jazz bass. Pros- Color of the body and headstock and the pickguard are beautiful. The sound produced by the pickups is different than my other stuff. Did not take long at all to get a Blink sound out of this. Lighter than a P or J bass. I liked that it came with strap lock buttons installed and the strap locks. The satin finish of the neck feels good. Less of a sticky/glossy feel than I am used to. Build quality reflects MIM work. Everything looks well place and it feels solid. Nothing feels loose or rattles. Cons- Seems a little rushed in terms of the finishes applied. There is some dried paint residue around the neck pocket, some paint dust or something has left a very small mark on the fret board, and the nut has some lacquer or glue all around it. Been able to scratch it off with my finger nail to clean it up. Really is going to need a good set up. Overall small stuff, but for the price markup of a signature bass I would expect these not to be there. Overall happy to have it. If just the stuff with the finish was taken care of I would give five stars. Getting this you probably need to be a fan of Blink/Mark or similar stuff. Without tone controls you are looking at a narrow area of music. However, that is fine, this is a signature instrument after all. This is great for playing fast and loud with a pick.
