collapse expand iconDescription

The Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS rosewood fingerboard electric guitar brings a modern edge to Fender's iconic Strat design, blending versatile tones with exceptional playability. Crafted with an alder body and gloss polyester finish, this guitar delivers a resonant and balanced tonal foundation. The HSS pickup configuration features a powerful Player II Modified humbucker in the bridge and Player II Noiseless Strat single-coil pickups in the middle and neck positions, offering a dynamic range of sounds. A push/pull tone control splits the humbucker for single-coil clarity, while the satin-finished maple neck ensures fluid, comfortable playability. The 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge and deluxe locking tuners add expressive vibrato capabilities and rock-solid tuning stability. With its combination of advanced electronics and premium materials, this Strat provides an outstanding platform for players seeking a guitar built for precision and performance.

Modern Neck Design for Effortless Playability

The satin-finished maple neck on this guitar is shaped with a modern C profile, making it comfortable for both rhythm and lead playing. Its 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard features rolled edges, providing a smooth, natural feel that reduces fatigue during long sessions. With 22 medium-jumbo frets, players can achieve effortless string bends and precise fretting across the entire range of the instrument. The TUSQ nut enhances sustain and tuning stability, while the 4-bolt standard neck joint ensures a sturdy connection for reliable performance. Whether you're playing intricate arpeggios or bold power chords, this neck delivers a fast, comfortable playing experience.

HSS Pickup Configuration for Expanded Tonal Range

This modified Stratocaster features an HSS pickup configuration designed to handle both high-output power and nuanced clarity. The Player II Modified humbucker in the bridge position provides a thick, punchy tone ideal for rock and lead playing. In the neck and middle positions, Player II Noiseless Strat pickups deliver articulate highs and warm mids without unwanted hum. The push/pull tone control lets players split the humbucker into a single-coil, offering crystalline clarity when needed. With a 5-position blade switch, players can seamlessly transition from bright, glassy tones to full-bodied growls, making this Strat an incredibly dynamic instrument for tonal exploration.

Enhanced Tremolo System for Stability and Expression

The 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge on this instrument is engineered for smooth operation and precise tuning stability. Its block saddles and chamfered tremolo block enhance string vibration transfer, contributing to improved sustain and resonance. Short-post locking tuners, paired with a TUSQ nut and modern string tree, keep your strings securely in place, even during heavy tremolo use or aggressive playing. This system allows players to incorporate subtle pitch changes or dive bombs into their performances without compromising tuning, making it a reliable choice for expressive musicians.

Premium Materials Built for Long-Term Performance

The Player II Modified Stratocaster is constructed with high-quality materials designed to withstand the demands of regular use. The alder body provides a lightweight yet durable foundation with a balanced tonal character that suits both clean and overdriven settings. Its satin urethane-finished maple neck resists environmental changes, ensuring stable performance over time. Nickel/chrome hardware and a four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard add a refined, modern aesthetic to the instrument. With Fender's meticulous attention to detail, this Strat is built to deliver exceptional performance and durability for years to come.

A Stratocaster Built for Versatility and Precision

The Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS rosewood fingerboard electric guitar combines classic Fender craftsmanship with modern enhancements for today's demanding players. Sounds more like a Stratocaster than a Stratocaster L.. The upgrades really make this guitar worth the purchase. I returned a player II that had neck issues I didn't want to deal with. Matt in Lakeland guitar center took great care of me and I ended up with this guitar. The biggest upgrade that I enjoyed was the saddles and the locking tuners but there is much much more like trouble bleeds and stuff. Had a professional set up done, and it plays like a dream. The noiseless pick ups are lively and very Strat sounding. The pearl paint is done no justice in the pics. It shimmers and changes colors via different light angles. Highly recommend this guitar.

Bought the player two Stratocaster initially then returned it for the modified. The hardware upgrades are fantastic. A trouble bleed on the volume knob allows lower volume, but you keep all tonal qualities. The noiseless pick ups are truly noiseless, upgraded saddles make string height adjustment a breeze, locking tuners are always a plus. The picture does the pearl color no justice. Matt at guitar Center Lakeland was fantastic. He processed my transaction professionally, making sure I was happy.
