    Put this in my "starter pack" Squier HSS. Great improvement over what was in it. Sounds great and made it fun to play again. I will say That if you have used copper tape to shield the inside, make sure you lay a piece of electrical tape down as insulation. The switch in a squier body is close enough that it will ground out. Thus, not producing any sound. After I did that, no problems.

    You must have a solder gun if you want to do it your self. But such an authentic sound, check youtube for all audio reference

    I got this for a Squier upgrade project. It fit pretty well. These pickups are classic Strat. They have that bright glassy sound. It's my only Strat that I really have to ride the tone knobs, but they sound amazing for the price. Note: I specifically bough these because they were not RWRP. This is the original non-hum cancelling 2 & 4 positions. I really like the consistency of sound you get this way when switching pickups.
